Behind The Shoot: Raincoat

01 / 03

What do you do when you feel like you've become stagnant in your craft? Refocus and push yourself harder!

I took a second to think and ask myself a question that I rarely get to ask; What do YOU want to create? I jumped on Pinterest and starting searching for inspiration. If anyone really knows me, they know that I have millions of pins and boards on my account that I draw inspiration from whether it be wardrobe, colors, props, you name it! Oddly enough, My search lead me back to a shoot that I did in 2017 with Melanie Hancock. and things started to manifest from there.

Creating a Professional Call Sheet

My task after pulling together my ideas and direction was to create a Professional call sheet so everyone involved can know what is going on and what is expected of everyone.

A call sheet breaks down the time, place, people involved, location, project concept and schedule of tasks to take place.

This project gave me a creative boost and it felt good to produce something that was out of the creative norm so to speak. To have complete control over the process and creation from start to finish made me remember why I started shooting in the first place. It was never for the money, never for the notoriety but for the love of being able to create something that only I could see and share it with world.
