Thinking back to the days leading up to high school graduation and even entering college, I never really thought about what it was that I wanted to do or be in this thing called life. I had a very vague thought that I wanted to go into criminal justice but I'm solid on the fact that I can credit it my family that was already in that line of work that influenced me to take a step in that direction.

I was always pretty good with computers up until that point so I thought that something in the tech field was a plan b for me. I began to listen to my gut more in my second year of college though when graphic design began to take the lead in my everyday life and somehow it kept money in my pockets. I could remember being really proud of myself because the other students on campus had to call their parents for things but I rarely had to. It was a way to feel more independent and it was something that was fun and was a source of creating other opportunities for me while pursuing my degree. Again, all of these things were steps that I never had to think about. It all was happening on its own as the love for what I was doing began to bear its own fruits.

Lets fast forward... After years of work and finally a few notable accomplishments under my belt, I found myself looking back more to assess and connect the dots on how exactly I got here and it amazes me more and more. Each second, each minute, each hour was already prepared for me but I had to get prepared for it.

At several points in my journey, things got hard. I'm not just talking a little difficult but mentally, physically, emotionally and even spiritually. During the situations I used to wonder why It felt like I was being tested more than the people around me. Thinking about the way I thought then now let's me know how immature I was to believe that I was the only one being tested and that in actuality, my "Hard" was someone else's easy.

God needed to prepare me for what was to come. Being good with computers was just one step, being able to make money was another but His future plans would require depth and development on more level than one and that ride was one that wasn't ever expected.
